My Year of the Tiger Birthday cake was just what I had envisioned, Kym put a lot of time and effort into getting it "just so". The decorations all had significance to the theme, and my guests were all VERY impressed when I explained the meanings of all of them. I definitely will go back for more, as Kym showed great interest in what I wanted and definitely delivered the goods. Apart from being a fantastic interpretation of my description the cakes tasted, as always, SCRUMPTIOUS!

Your cakes are by far the best I have ever eaten! It's obvious that a lot of love goes into your cakes, and the little chocolate hearts on the passionfruit ones were a lovely touch :)

By the way, my mum took a few to her work on monday and everyone raved about them. She's telling as many people as she can about your business!

Having been regular consumers of Gertie & Gilbert cakes, there was never any doubt that they would be the ones to do our wedding cake. After meeting with Kym and giving her a very vague brief of what we would like, and quietly adding that the cake would need to travel 400km in a car to get to the reception, my husband to be and I up and left!

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful cake, it was exactly what we wanted and was most definitely the showpiece of the reception. Even today, as people look through mountains of wedding photos, the one they admire the most is that of the cake. We have recommended, and will continue to, Gertie & Gilbert for anyone wanting a special occasion cake, or just a yummy cup cake to have with a cuppa.

I ordered an Elmo Cake for my 3yrs old daughter's birthday and the look on her face says it all. She couldn't stop smiling all night and just kept saying Elmo Elmo! Gertie&Gilbert Cupcakes made a Naming Day cake for our son. They managed to decorate the cake to fit all the writing I wanted and all within 3 days notice. The cake looked and tasted fantastic. Our guests loved it. I'll definitely be going back the next time I need something, and probably drop in for a cupcake here and there too.

I will defiantly recommend Gertie & Gilbert Cupcakes to everyone i know... Kym was so helpful and quick to respond to my request for our cupcakes with our company logo, which were perfect and SUPER soft and tasted fantastic. They were HEAVENLY!!!! I will be back.

Thanks Kym for our most beautiful wedding cup cake tower....I came to you with my invite and a few scraps of ribbons and lace....within minutes, I could tell that you understood the theme of my wedding and the kinds of things that would make our wedding cake perfect! Your correspondance by email was excellent, you always kept me updated about pieces you had collected and even sent photos so I was confident with what you were creating for us. We collected the cake the day before and thank you for packing everything so neatly so it was easy to transport the cakes chilled.

Everyone at the wedding commented on how beautifully the cake was presented and of course how yummy they were. Thank you very much Kym - you are very talented!!!

My mum travels from Lilli Pilli to Warwick Farm for the cakes. I wait for mum to come home with the cakes. Even if it is 8am in the morning I am still allowed to have a chocolate cake for breakfast.

The freshness of the cakes is to die for. I could never cook a cake to the quality of yours. I pull up in the car and my family are waiting for them.

They're big enough to know you're having a treat yet not big enough to make you feel guilty for having one. Or two!

From the instant I spoke to you over the phone, I knew dealing with you was going to be easy. You took on my ideas and requests and came up with the perfect idea. From start to finish dealing with you was easy, stress free and very reassuring.

The creation was a complete hit at the kitchen tea everyone commented on how pretty it all looked and the attention to detail on all my mini cupcakes was just a perfect touch.

Moving on to the actual taste and texture of the mini cupcakes we had, well what can I say other than divine. Every single cup cake tasted so good, all the flavours and toppings went together perfectly to create mouth watering cupcakes. Your flavour selection could not have looked and tasted any better. There was not a single cupcake left, which I think says it all.

So again thank you for creating such a beautiful looking and tasting arrangement for me.

It was a pleasure to deal with Kym at Gertie and Gilbert’s regarding my daughter’s birthday cupcakes.

My daughter and I discussed a possible Halloween theme with Kym who listend to what we wanted and contributed great ideas re design and colour etc.

In the end, the Halloween stand and cupcakes looked simply sensational. The display was bright and attractive and the cakes tasted delicious. The cakes were a real hit and impressed all!
